Join the families, professionals, and friends that make up the Autism Tree Family and help us continue to serve one parent, one child, and one family at a time.
Are you a new parent to Autism Tree? Read below for tips on how to get started.
All Autism Tree's educational and support programs are provided at no charge to families affected by autism.
Depending on your autistic child’s age, interests and needs, Autism Tree has a remarkable network of volunteer directors, parents and professionals to help your family on your autism journey through our 20 programs. These programs are designed to get families like yours out into the community, introduce you to more parents who understand and give your children more opportunities to socialize, create, and maintain friendships - all while having a fun, shared experience!
Here is a list of our free programs:
Food, Farming & Nutrition Program
Navigating Neurodiversity Program
Siblings of Autism Support Program
USD Athletics Mentor Program (Football, Baseball, & Basketball)
We also offer over 400+ resource videos on our YouTube channel, including but not limited to our Reading with Autism Tree series, Autism Tree at Home series, and weekly Lunch & Learn series.
Under the "Programs & Events" tab, we have divided our programs up based on your child's age, however, you are welcome to explore ANY of our programs. Please feel free to call our office at 619-222-6645 for recommendations on how to start getting your family involved!
Our number one priority is and always will be providing more social opportunities and connections for our children, parents, and families. We understand autism affects the whole family unit and welcome the entire family (siblings, cousins, grandparents too!) to participate in our 200+ annual events (offered either virtually, in-person, or hybrid), including our annual Neuroscience Conference every Fall and Winter Wonderland holiday celebration in December.
All Autism Tree program events are provided at no charge to autism families, but you must register/RSVP online! All links to register for program events are on our website calendar and posted on our Facebook event calendar.
