Musical Playgroup Program

Our mission with the Autism Tree Musical Playgroup Program is to help families see their child’s strengths in a new light by using music to teach essential communication and social skills. These once a month playgroups are hosted by certified music therapists from the Music Therapy Center of California (MTCCA), where kids learn to interact, communicate and play through experimenting with music making.

This program is a life-line for newly diagnosed families who have just entered the world of autism and an incredible tool for parents to get more language from their child.

Since 2011, this program has served 763 children and over 650 families to date. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering this program virtually through Zoom.
